TL;DR: Some states now require ID-based age checks for adult images. We don’t collect IDs, so images are hidden in those locations.
A handful of U.S. states have recently started enforcing new laws that require adult websites to verify a visitor’s age before showing explicit images. These rules go well beyond a simple “Are you 18?” popup.
In states like Kentucky, Texas, and several others, adult sites may be expected to collect government-issued ID or use third-party age-verification systems just to display explicit imagery.
WCAR is a small, independently run site. We don’t have the resources — or the interest — in collecting personal documents or paying for invasive verification services. Instead, we choose the safer route and block explicit images in places where these laws apply.
The good news: you can still read full reviews, scene breakdowns, and browse the site normally. Only the images are affected.
If this seems unexpected, your connection may be routing through a restricted state (VPNs and proxies can do that). Turning those off and refreshing may restore access.
