GoodMuseBadMuse.com (Site Review)
"We believe in deep, artistic collaboration with sex workers and the unusual. Our hope is to foster a like-minded community of people and inspire them to work towards a life of freedom, presence and undeniable truth within themselves."
Nijah is simply a creative genius and an incredible photographer. He doesn’t touch and make things more beautiful. That’s not what he does. He reveals the raw, uncompromised, uncensored true beauty of things. The way he captures people and elements and plays with lights is unique, something to see. Each photo has a spectacular vibe. Bee is the badass, gorgeous muse. She is an underrated erotic artist. She is also a magician with decors and concepts. She is an energetic and spontaneous creative little elf. She has this amazing brain, this attention and passion for details, just like Nijah. She always comes up with so many creative ideas, for shoots, merch, the magazine and they all look so unique and hot.
The thing with GOODMUSEBADMUSE is that every model, every collaborative being in front of the camera or even behind is a muse. They inspire concepts and they melt into every project so naturally. They love to collaborate with sex workers. They are a big, important part of the GOODMUSEBADMUSE family. Nijah and Bee have worked with Jada Stevens, Carmen Caliente, Karla Kush, and Keisha Grey just to name a few. GOODMUSEBADMUSE is a brand, a platform, and a safe place for sex workers. While Twitter is shadowbanning, Instagram is discriminating and banning them, GOODMUSEBADMUSE welcomes them all and gives them a voice.
"... a place where we can uplift artists globally, giving shadowbanned sex workers a platform to be loudly present without fear of deplatformization.""
Now let’s talk about the excuse I used to talk about them, the website. The website is in Nijah and Bee’s image: badass, creative and positive vibes floating around and very accessible. It is so beautifully all put together, it is super clear where everything is, and you are immediately in a creative mood surfing on their website. As I mentioned earlier, they have merch, a magazine, stickers, and also framed prints for sale, all of that is accessible on their website.
Now let’s get into it...
As you scroll down you can see a direct link to get brand-new stickers featuring Bee and Keisha Grey. The print store button is the next thing showing up, then again the merch button. As you keep scrolling down, you see a bunch of pictures displayed in the background, featuring Bee, Karla Kush, Keisha Grey and more. "Work us" shows up again before another series of breathtaking pictures before final links to Nijah and Bee's respective portfolios.
Their social media are showing at the bottom of the home page, Bee and Nijah's respective Instagram, then again their websites. The GOODMUSEBADMUSE email is also displayed and a contact form "contact us another way" is following you around at the bottom of the page all along.
Art Magazines
Five issues (soon to be six) of the GOODMUSEBADMUSE paper magazine are available, for $22.22 each. It used to be a monthly subscription thing but now you can buy each issue. When you click on an issue, you have a few pictures displayed and a little paragraph to tell you who is featured in the magazine. They ship in the USA and in Canada.
Merch Store
There are technically two stores on the website, and this is one of them. The merch store is operated by creator-spring and featured GOODMUSEBADMUSE apparel. You got the brand tees, tank tops, hoodies and sweatshirts. At the moment they also have some badass merch with Bee or Keisha Grey on it available. They used to have some with Carmen Caliente. Available in different colours, the price range is from $27 to $59 USD. You can change the currency of the website depending on where you are. A cool bag is also available and for a limited time, they had really cool mugs and cute beanies. The best is to follow the GOODMUSEBADMUSE's Instagram. They post quite often about the merch available on the website and that way you won't miss the limited-time offers! You can click the button at the top of the page to go back to the GOODMUSEBADMUSE homepage.
Shop the shop
This is the other store operated directly by GOODMUSEBADMUSE, where you can find goodies like stickers, a few prints (even signed ones) and mystery bundle prints, magazines, and magnets. The price range is from $2.22 (for the stickers) to $77 (for the signed prints).
Work with us
"Work with us" takes you to Nijah Stevens' website, to the contact form. It allows you to choose between three kinds of shoot: standard shoot, standard GOODMUSEBADMUSE shoot and standard travel shoot. Each shoot is very well explained and very detailed with prices, and what to expect from each of them. Nijah also offers "Private 1-week coaching with Nijah and GOODMUSEBADMUSE" where you can learn about lighting, photoshop and more with Nijah.
To book something, you just read and choose the right shoot for you, then you click "book". Once you have done that you can select options to have them create a concept for you or to have access to a makeup + hair artist, both options for a supplement of course. You can choose the date of your shoot and the time. Then you enter a shoot form, with your basic information and also what you want for the shoot etc... You can pay for the whole shoot right away or pay a deposit. Pretty simple!
Print store
The print store is operated by the website darkroom, which is a portfolio website. There are over 75 prints available for sale. Different sizes are available, you can have them framed, on fine art canvas, professional paper, border or no border etc... price range is from $15 up to $130.
