Naked Illusions

      Jonathan Graves (Brad Armstrong) is in his dressing room with Trisha (Carmen Hart) and Drew (Eric Masterson). Carmen is his assistant while Eric plays his agent. Before the show starts they are fighting because Brad is promoting is book too much. The book, called Naked Illusions, is a tell all about how magicians do there tricks. For anyone that knows anything about the magicians code, would know that this would piss them off very much. Katie Morgan (playing Brad's wife) comes in just as Brad and Carmen are going to go on stage. Katie tells Eric that Brad doesn't know what's going on between them. On stage we see him do a few tricks. During one of the tricks Devon Michaels, who plays another assistant, asks Carmen why she got demoted to 2nd assistant. She tells her, while gritting her teeth. that she got demoted because she has a new boyfriend, which is against the rules.

      After they finish they get cleaned up. While they do that we see Brad doing his final trick of that half of the show. Before that though he talks to the crowd about his book for a bit. He's trick is that he makes himself disappear, which is to delight his enemies cause that's what they want him to do. Devon and Carmen proceed to lock him in a straight jacket and also lock him in an air tight box. Back in the dressing room he appears and strangles Katie to death. On stage the two assistants open the box after 5 minutes, just then Brad comes walking through the audience. All 3 of them walk off stage to find Eric over her dead body. Brad, now drinking at the bar, is then approached by a detective that needs to ask him some questions. Devon is with him and she validates that he was on stage the whole time. The detective thinks that Eric did it. Devon and Brad are then seen at his house celebrating the fact that they pulled off killing his wife.

      The detective is now talking to Carmen who tells him that he was off stage for 5 minutes during the last trick. Brad then goes to visit August (she is playing wife of Eric's character) to console her about him getting arrested. Brad ends up hypnotizing her with a wine in a glass. While under she talks fondly of this guy names Billy. He convinces her that Eric is a bad guy and that he is Billy.

      Brad then leaves her house. While outside he runs into the detective who wonders why he is there. The detective is there to ask her questions about the murder and Brad tells him that she should be cooperative. Brad leaves in order to go to a party at his place. While he's there he talks to William (Van Damage) about performing in Vegas. As incentive for the deal he offers Carmen too him.

      Back at the party the detective is talking to another magician (Real life wife of director Randy Spears, Demi Delia). She tells him that Brad stole her act from her. Brad walks up and they end up fighting a bit before she throws water on him. Detective talks to him a bit more in the house and leaves as Devon follows him. Brad and Carmen are talking now as she tells him she knows he killed his wife and she will tell the cops if he doesn't give her what she wants. First off she wants to be first assistant and secondly she wants to spend the night with him instead of Devon.
