Summary:
This on gets a 6.75. This one fell a bit short of my expectations. I've heard nothing but good things Alex's parody movies. Not to mention I really don't see this as a parody, but more of a re-imagination of the story.
here were certainly some liberties taken in the story, as well some omissions. Additionally, the story was more about the Queen, than Snow White. Which worked out, Jessica nailed the Queen role! Technically, I wasn't a fan
of the really dark scenes. I'm sure there's some reasoning behind them being dark, but shadows literally hid the action at times. Over all though, the movie worked, just not quite as well as I was expecting. Wicked has
some really great titles in its library, but unfortunately this isn't on that level. Maybe future "parodies" from Axel will hit the mark.
