Inside the site, I was overwhelmed with options, with close to 175,000 scenes; it was hard to not feel like this was going to be a good site There was a "Channel" bar across the top, allowing me to go right to some of the top categories on the site, and over the course of my review, they even added a few. Clicking on one of them took you to scenes that featured the selected channel (category), with the latest scene from Adult DVD Empire prominently displayed at the top. Scenes were the de facto way to go, but movies were also an option. Both the scenes and movies detailed, giving what studio it was from and the participants. Additionally, they gave large front covers, had a system to like, favorite, watch later and turn on/off autoplay. Both also offered "chapter stops" - the movies were one or two per scene and the scenes were multiple places. The search functionality worked well and the tagging systems, but I particularly liked the "stars" section. You could sort the girls by popularity or by name, but the real value came in for me in the fact you could narrow girls down by features (a Latin, DD+ cupped brunette, for example). Moreover, the stars page breaks down her movies and her scenes.

Now, to the stuff I took issue with. First there's nothing to download, not pictures, not movies, and that was probably my biggest issue. While I could probably guess why this isn't an option, it was still something I didn't like... And since everything was stream only, I was hoping for a very smooth player... That didn't happen for me. I have a decent connection, but I had several issues with skipping around in movies. Things like complete freezing (I would have to reload the page), or it would freeze for several seconds before starting up again, and sometimes where I wanted to be and where it put me were different. I've reviewed quite a few sites and almost everyone I have use the streaming feature didn’t have these issues, at least not this severe. Lastly, the amount of newer (HD) content added pales in comparison to the older stuff. For example, one day I checked, we got 2 HD movies and 26 total updates. What is odd about some of those stats is the fact some of the movies added are newer titles, ones I would expect to be in HD, but weren't only 420p.
