Summary:
When I was approached to review BondageBunnies, a site that sells bondage toys/gear and doesn't make porno scenes, I was a little hesitant, but figured "why not"?! The site had a very professional feel to it, something I think sites like this should have - it adds a level of confidence in the buyer; speaking as someone who's frequented similar sites. I haven't ordered something from the site, so I can't speak to how fast they deliver, and I'm sure it's a little lengthy since they are located in the Europe and I'm in the US. Fixing a few things (navigation to the posts, some blurry images and site speed), would go a long way, but even with those issues, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to order from the site.
Details:
With a name like "BondageBunnies" I was expecting something a little rougher around the edges to be honest, but landing on the front page, I immediately felt a sense of "well done". They make it clear they are in this for all levels, stating "For him and her, from the beginner to the more advanced", which is great. I've been to a few other sites and they didn't feel as well designed or as welcoming as BondageBunnies. Anyway, checking out the front page some more there were some popular things on display (restraints, vibrators, whips and stockings), along with some of the more popular toys. Finally there was something I thought was really cool, tips from the site about sex. Things like "How to stay safe with BDSM dating", "5 steps to spice up your anniversary" and "Beginners role play tips for the bedroom". Starting there, with the blog posts, each one is written well enough and I liked the fact you could comment on each one. I did read a few, and liked them; however I found it difficult to navigate to them. I'm aware the main draw of the site aren't these articles, but they are here and someone put time into them, and I found them informative, so I would like to see them easier to find and get to. To the meant & potatoes of the site, the toys, there's a lot. Things are broken down into 5 sections: Bondage Gear, Sex Toys, Lingerie, Fun and Games and "Essentials" (condoms/lubes/oils/personal hygiene/toy cleaner). Each area lists everything, but each area is also broken down into sub sections. For example, under Lingerie there were sections for "Body stockings", "Plus Size", and "Latex", just to name a few. There was a LOT of lingerie options! Each area also had filters, like showing things by price and sorting by popularity and average rating and such. Looking through the options, there was a lot to choose from, always a good thing in my experience in sex toy shopping. Admittedly my wife and I mainly stick to toys as opposed to restraints and BDSM stuff.
