Summary:
This one gets a 9.25. As far as sites go, Digital Desire has been around and knows how to provide for it's subscribers, it's been around at least 10 years now. The site offers very well done
photos of current and past porn stars, as well as those elusive beauties that only do photos only. In addition to being well done, they are high quality photos, even the lower resolutions.
The videos were a little underwhelming, in both format consistency and length, but they followed the same format as the photos; well done. I would have liked to have seen some full 1080 HD
downloads too. A lot of sites are putting their HD content up for viewing these days. Overall, with all the options for any given girl/set and with the sheer number of girls/sets, the price
of admission. Although the price is a little steep at 33+ bucks a month, most are 20 or 25 bucks. A great site overall though.

When I was approached to review digitaldesire.com (aka DDGirls.com), I was excited. This site has been around a long time and once upon a time, I had a subscription to it for 6 months
or so. From what I recalled, this was as artistic porn as any site as any I can think of, probably one of my top artistic sites. And with that, you get EXACTLY that within this site. Tons of
girls, both porn starlets and photo-only girls, shot in a beautifully artistic way. But not too artistic 
There's plenty of close-ups and crotch shots, but even those are well done.
Apparently the site's been rebooted a few times as it's touting "Member's Area 5.0", but unfortunately for me I can't decipher if the site is better or worse for it's improvements. However, I can speak to what I seen. The site is just as well laid-out as the pictures they sport. When you hit the first landing page, you get the latest updates in descending order, along with some tabs allowing you to skim around to some of the other features, along with a few links to the Digital Desire store, a directory of girls and a schedule of upcoming updates. And speaking of those updates, the site gets updated daily. Even on Sundays
Breaking into those tabs, the photos tab takes you into a page where you see the latest added sets, but you can apply various filters, such as hair color, pubic "hair cut" and boob type, but there were more also. Then there's the video tab, which is pretty much the same as the photo tab, but for the video sets. Then there's the extras tab, one I liked a lot. This links you to nature (like animals and landscape) desktops and desktop images of various girls featured on the site at various resolutions (1680, 1440, 1280, 1024 and 800). Also there's a section for a behind the scenes, just photos though, and then there's the "Talent Search" area. I particularly liked this section as it featured some girls that didn't make it to the regular shoots and they were shots of the girls in a more natural setting. Almost no make-up, from the looks of it, and they normally had a shot of a questionnaire kind of thing that let you in on some of the girls hobbies, turn-ons, turn-offs and a few other things. Not many pictures per girl though. Then there's the tool and info tabs. They mostly keep track of videos, photo sets and girls you have set as favorites. And they also contain info about the Digital Desire store, the message board and some other info about the site.
Now, going in to each photo set, you get several options. First you can click the girls name to get all sets she's appeared in, then you can click "Play Slideshow", which pulls up the pictures in windowed or full screen fashion and a set time for the pictures to advance; no need to hit the next button. Moreover, there's a link to download the pictures as a zip, which are specified by the selection of resolution below it (800, 1024, 1280, 1600, 3000). Then on the actual pictures, you can do a little preview by mousing over the picture; a nice touch. Additionally, you can rate this set and also choose to favorite it, which leads back to that tools tab I was talking about. Additionally, the scene is categorized by the site, so you can click on those and see what sets fall into that category. An example would be "Young N Fresh" or "Hooters".
Going into a video set, you get a few options, not quirt as many as the photo sets, but still a nice amount. Just like the others, you can favorite the scene and rate it, and it's also categorized as well. The scenes were stream-able "normal" and "high" qualities, but were somewhat short. The ones I checked clocked in between 6 and 12 minutes, but those were some sexy minutes... Both the normal and high quality looked good when streaming, I couldn't tell a huge difference between them, but there was a difference. The scenes were also downloadable.
I got good speed, about 1 Mbps Not all
were available in the H.264, but most were, even the older ones, however they were still in standard definition resolution. Additionally, they offered Windows media format (wmv files) in
most cases, and then on select sets they offered Quick Time, Adobe Flash and DivX. And to come full circle, the HD 720 H.264 and the HD 720 wmv, looked fantastic! A clear difference between
those and the streaming video.
